Culture
The culture of India refers to the way of life of the people of India.
India’s languages, religions, dance, music, architecture, food, and customs differ from place to place within the country. The Indian culture often labeled as an amalgamation of several cultures, spans across the Indian subcontinent and has been influenced by a history that is several millennia old. Many elements of India’s diverse cultures, such as Indian religions, yoga, and Indian cuisine, have had a profound impact across the world and Himalayas at the end at the Indian terrain.
The Himalayas are perhaps best known for its High peaks. But the Himalayas’ snowy slopes and green valley’s are also home to some of the world’s hardiest people. Indeed, the mountains. Culture in Himalayas and people lives there is vast and in pure form. There are still some villages where you can experience the real life, where areas are close for six months and so. But they live happy and healthy life as compare to the people live in the cities, as they have pure environment around them.
From Kashmir to Ladakh to Himachal to Uttrakhand to UP to Sikkim to Arunachal Pradesh there is great scope of learning. Learning of culture, people, wildlife, food myths and believes.
But the condition is to leave yourself at your Home and travel with your soul along with spirit of Adventure.
Cuisine
India cuisine or Indian food encompasses a wide variety of regional cuisines native to India. Given the range of diversity in soil type, climate and occupations, these cuisines vary significantly from each other and use locally available spices, herbs, vegetables and fruits. Indian food is also heavily influenced by religious and cultural choices and traditions.
The development of these cuisines have been shaped by Dharmic beliefs, and in particular by vegetarianism, which is a growing dietary trend in Indian society. There has also been Central Asian influence on North Indian cuisine from the years of Mughal rule. Indian cuisine has been and is still evolving, as a result of the nation’s cultural interactions with other societies.
Historical incidents such as foreign invasions, trade relations and colonialism have also played a role in introducing certain foods to the country. For instance, potato, a staple of Indian diet was brought to India by the Portuguese, who also introduced chilies and breadfruit. Indian cuisine has also shaped the history of international relations; the spice trade between India and Europe is often cited by historians as the primary catalyst for Europe’s Age of Discovery. Spices were bought from India and traded around Europe and Asia. It has also influenced other cuisines across the world, especially those from Southeast Asia, the British Isles and the Caribbean.
Delicacies of Indian food cannot be explained by anyone, you eat it learn it. Mouth is always full of water after thinking of delicacies of food here.

Kayaking is a popular water sport that has many diverse forms, including sea kayaking, sit on top kayaking, white water kayaking, surf kayaking, kayak touring, and many different types of competition kayaking.
Kayaking is also an Olympic sport, with flat water sprint races and white-water slalom races. Hundreds of thousands of people try kayaking in some form every year, making it one of the fastest growing adventure sports in the UK.
In Uttaranchal there are many very interesting rivers for kayakers. Most important are Bhagirati and Alaknanda rivers that become the Ganges after the confluence. These are big volume, powerful rivers. The paddling on their uppermost sections can be interesting for very strong kayakers, but it is very tiresome due to a lot of portages. The difficulty is grade-4 to grade-6. One would have to carry the boat over huge chunks of rocks which takes away forces and time. The paddling on lower sections is much more interesting and easier, because there are significantly less portages and valley also widens.
The popularity of kayaking in Rishikesh is increasing more and more. It is an adventure activity where the adventurer uses a kayak to paddle across a waterway. It is interesting to note that the sport of kayaking has different types. Depending on your preferences, you can also choose to go on a kayaking expedition or an extended trip across the Ganges. The adventure is even more fun when it is done on a white water river, the adventure termed as white water kayaking. If you have planned your trip to Rishikesh, you can never afford to miss a kayaking trip across the divine moving waters of the Ganges. Kayaking in Rishikesh has its own unique flavour.
A form of canoeing, Kayaking is a natural extension for rafting lovers. Whitewater kayaking is very popular on the fast and furious rapids of the Ganges in Rishikesh. Rishikesh provides the best facilities for White water kayaking and there are many trainers avaiable for this adventures sport. Round the year (except monsoon) seven day training camps are organised for White water kayaking in the rapids of Ganges.
